This keychain needs two key rings. The swivel on the keychain will allow your keys to rest in a “natural” position. When in your pocket, it seems like less bulk.
This print-in-place keychain swivel is ready for custom text in PrusaSlicer. The .3mf file has a text layer ready to customize. Most words up to 5 letters will fit. When you slice, the color change is built it to the .3mf file. If you don’t want any text, simply delete the text element. You may want to move the text a little to keep the letters from falling into the crack.
Suggested printing is: 100% infill, 4 perimeters, brim. No supports.
After you print you will need to break a little nub of plastic inside the swivel. Use two wrenches or pliers or vice and wrench… you want to twist the two ends and that nub will break. After you get some movement, the swivel will still be stiff. Put a little bit of light oil (e.g. WD40, or my preferred, WD40 Dry Lube with PTFE) in the crack then hold one end and rotate the other. You won’t need a wrench. After you spin it a few times, the little burr inside will wear down and you’re done!
