Simple Fan adapter 80mm for Akasa Turing case (Intel NUC). Preferrable the Noctua 5V PWM 80mm fan is used. The fan is directly connected to an USB port of the NUC. No screws needed, simply slide it into the cover, it fits perfectly.
The adapter itself is attached to the case by sliding it on M3 headless screws places into the original spacers of the case. The headless screws can also be inserted to the case directly also having different threads. They will do the job.
The original cover plate can be screwed to the adapter from the outside as well. To get the best aesthetic result use the spacers here, not between case and fan adapter.
Depending on the tolerance of your printer, the holes require a little bit of drilling. You can adjust the hole-diameter by parameters in the f3d file as well.
It has some place for electronics, so i placed a HW-691 Infrared Temperature Sensor to track the case-temperature with a WEMOS D1 Mini.
The PWM-signal is generated in relation to the measured temperature, so in general it will stay totally quiet. Under heavy load the fan will be smoothly adjusted to limit temperature of the case.
