Also, does anybody know how to re-route the audio cable from the left to right side so I don't need any extensions, etc?

After trying several different designs most you needed to heat with a hair dryer and try and twist into place. These work perfectly right off the printer. This is a flawless victory.

Ready to deliver to a friend!

my settings weren't locked in well and it still printed great. thanks for uploading!

I just wanted to give some feedback on the part. First of all, it is a good design that is easy to print, and it was quite clever to just capture the DAS underneath, versus require it to be clipped in.

With that being said, my right side print was very rigid and difficult to get on. Then once I managed to get it on, it was so tight that it was difficult to get back off. I was actually a little concerned about damaging the arm on the Quest 3 when I tried to remove it.

The left side worked a lot better, I believe because the opening cutout gives the part more flex. If it's not too much trouble, I'd like to suggest that you may want to include an alternative right side option that also has the cutout. (edited)

3d printed this on a .6 nozzle at a .36 layer height. It snaps on right away.

Great model! Was happy to be able to port my FrankenQuest setup from the Quest 2 to the Quest 3. I did have to print the left side at 99% scale to get a tight fit.

Thank you so much for your nice stl-models, real, love it! 😀

Is it possible to gift you a little?

Good quality model that prints fast and needs absolutely no modification before use.

Excellent design.

Thank you for allowing me to get up and running on day 1.

@Morpheus31_120960 Gosh, it's been a while. I believe I printed this with the flat side down and no supports.

@ItsMeDario Thank you for response. Wow, no supports? Suprised. But I could give it a shot.

Instead of using the Velcro, I have found the clip I printed for the Quest 2 DAS adapter works fine for the Quest 3. It is inserted opposite direction from the Quest 2 but it stays in place. See pic.

Printed in Inland Grey Sparkle ASA. Clip previously printed in Inland grey PLA on Ender 3 V2.

@GuruGuy_1022118
I updated my model to work better with quest 3, Which i gott because of you ;)
I did not think my original was working good enough so I made a new one:

for audio cable I rerouted the cable behind the head instead like this:

@Elizer_822562 Awesome. Yeah, the Quest 2 design fits in there and has not come off for me, but doesn't snap in securely like it did for Quest 2. Ill download the new one - and might try to re-reroute the audio cable the same way.

Thanks!
