My folding chairs had “classic” pipe end caps with a design that didn't work OK for this application. As a result of the contact area with the floor beign really small, with time and use they got worn out and where not protecting the floor any more.
I've improved the design to avoid the same issue happening again in the future. The new end caps take into consideration the angle of the legs with respect to the floor in order to distribute the load in a larger area.
There are two models of end caps as each pair of legs (front vs rear) have a different angle with respect to the floor.
The diameter and angle of this end caps can be easily customized to fit any particular application. I'm including the STEP files in order to be edited.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
