Screen for 5x12 Marine Portlight

The screens on our boat were old, cracked and missing tabs. I have never liked the replacement commercial offerings and certainly never liked the price. I decided to design and print a replacement. These were printed using PLA and after 2 years they are perfectly fine. I have also printed them with PETG with no problem. 

This is only the frame so you will need .125" rubber spline and standard residential screen material to install the screen. These are readily available in most home improvement stores and online.

I have included the Freecad file so that you can adjust the fitment or size if needed. 

These can be printed on a 300x300 bed when rotated 45 degrees.  As well, to make my life easier I only used supports on the tabs not the spline channel.
