Replacement stand for Fluke multimeters, improved version, original by: https://www.thingiverse.com/make:958810

Printing parameters:

  • Resolution: 0.2mm
  • Perimeters: Default
  • Infill: 15% works fine, increase as needed for more durability
  • Supports: Yes, build plate only, using default settings, remove supports from inside the downwards facing pin as it may be difficult to remove. it may print fine without.

Tested it on a Fluke 179 and 75 series 3 and it works well. Printed in both PLA and PETG and did not see much difference.

Included print files for a mk4 with input shaping and a prusa mini+

Differences of the remix compared to the original

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3897944

Took this model and improved it in tinkercad, it's now thicker and more stable, doesn't open as far and is closer to the original stand in function, also made mounting pins thicker so that they can be printed in PLA or PETG and won't break as easily. Also including files for editing or if you want to add your name to the final print.

  • Brim: Yes, increase diameter if you think it may tip over during printing.
  • Orientation: Print as shown on its side for best results and less supports needed.
