Was having good results with Taffert Designs MooseSlug BCAR, but I really wanted that oddball triangular aesthetic - designs of which seem to have largely disappeared off printables/thingiverse/cults.
So I remixed. Yes it's nowhere near as easy to print as Taffert's - I cut away all that wasn't absolutely necessary - and changed the hardware up a bit as I really dislike the pins.
I printed cover face down - to get the texture on the front I wanted - at a cost of yes it'll need supports. I print the main body with the threaded coupler up - So the supported side of the flange is hidden within the cover.
M3 heatset / nutserts, and M3x8 screws to retain the bearings. To clear the collar (You can download that off the original MooseSlug BCAR design) M2x6mm screws are used.
Depending on print settings/nozzle - you might get a small gap in the corner behind the front most bearings; looking for a way to clean that up a bit. Shouldn't affect operation.
The author remixed this model.
Mechanically - it's the same, Aesthetics - different, my builds put mine about 15g lighter than the original.
Taffert's is definitely an easier print, Mine is an absolute dumpster fire that will require supports.
I used m3 heat inserts and m3x8mm screws to hold the bearings in place. Shroud is held on by 3xM2x6 screws - as that's what cleared the collar.
