Wall Hook for SmartStore Box classic 31

Background and idea

I use a SmartStore 31 box as my filament storing and drying box. Two wall hooks hold the box horizontally above my printer so that several filaments are easily accessible.

The wall hooks are designed for countersunk head screws with 5mm diameter.

If the box is filled heavyly, i.e. with eight filament spools of 1kg each, it tends to bend. To avoid this, I recommend using my lid clips to improve stability. https://www.printables.com/model/608613-lid-clip-for-smartstore-box-classic-31

Printing recommendations

• PETG or similar strong. – I used Prusament PETG Signal White.
• Nozzle diameter 0.6mm (or 0.4mm) – I used 0.6mm BondTech CHT nozzle.
• Layer hight 0.32mm (or less)
• Perimeters 4 – for stability
• Solid layers top 5 bottom 4 – for stability
• Infill 20% cubic – for stability
• No supports
• It fits on MK3/4 print bed by turning it 45° clockwise

Prints in 2 hour 13 minutes (n0.6 h0.32 on MK4IS) and uses 122g Filament per hook.
