Filament Waste Bin

This is meant to be hung with double-sided tape but the Solidworks file are there if you want to make modifications to add screw holes or something like that. I created the parts in one file so one file has both the bin and hook. The stl contains both the hook and bin, so if you only want one of them then split them to objects in the slicer.

It has a 3mm thickness so it can stand on its own and it won't be crushed if you bump into it.

Print recommendations:

Layer Height: 0.2mm

10% Infill

I created a new mount version with a deeper and larger back for double-sided tape. This makes the mount more snug with less wiggle room and it makes the bin more flush with the surface.

I've added a new bin style tailored for wider storage needs. This model is much wider, making it perfect for larger filament strips. Its much slimmer for those who want a low-profile bin. I've included 2 sizes (175mm and 220mm internal width) but you can edit it to your needs. It has a shell thickness of 2.5mm. It's compatible with the standard hook model, so you just need to print the new bin.
