I recently picked up a plastic model kit for the first time in 20 years, so I wanted to organise all my tools needed to put it together (except anything related to painting it, as I've already got setups for that).
I found the original model on Printables, but it only contained space for some of the decal materials, not for the cutting, gluing and sanding. So I added slots to include glues, a craft knife with spare blades, a hand drill with drill bits, a mini cutting mat, a metal ruler, a pair of cutters and a variety of sanding tools. The lay-out is highly personal, based on the materials and tools I had on hand, but it's easy enough to adapt the model to your needs in a CAD tool, even in something as simple as 3D Builder.
I'm aware that the mesh of the model is a little bit rough, my CAD skills are limited. But it's functional and prints very well without any problems (no supports needed of course).
If you found it useful, please let me know in the comments, I'd love to see how you ended up using it.
The author remixed this model.
Starting from the original file I changed the layout of some holes and added a bunch more for a variety of tools and liquids (glue and decal solutions).
