Ikea HYGIENISK dishwasher dish rack bracket

The holder for the dish stand in our Ikea HYGIENISK dishwasher broke. It's a pretty flimsy part to start with. You can only order a complete new rack, not the plastic parts… So I designed a new one.

This needs to be printed in a temperature resistant material, I chose Prusament ASA. This prints really nicely on the Prusa MINI+ without an enclosure since the parts are small. 

I included the Fusion 360 files if you wish to adjust the tolerances or maybe remix it for a different dishwasher.

I recommend printing it with a brim and 4 external perimeters.

The orange part is printed in PLA to test the fit and to make it stand out in the photo's. The actual parts are black ASA as shown on the print bed. Check the Prusa materials guide for what surface to use and if the it needs a barrier like glue stick. I used the satin sheet so I can do without glue stick.

2023-10-16 : V2 - beefed up the part and loosened the tolerances a bit. After a few uses the clips could break.
