You only need a 10mm wide spring that is at least 20mm long. For the locking to work best, the spring should be 25mm long.

The spring is placed in the outer container. Then the inner part with the guide is put in. The rotation serves to ensure that the container is not accidentally removed and the spring is permanently under tension. In addition, there is an extension of the guide in the ejection position so that the container cannot be accidentally twisted. Furthermore, the ejection chute is rounded so that no crumbs can get stuck between the two parts.

Now it has a guide rail and a lock so that the inner container can not fall out. I also adjusted the lid so that it holds better.
