Dummy boards are blanked-off frames that go in a beehive. They are the same size as the other frames and are often kept alongside them in the hive. During an inspection, the beekeeper will remove them to make a space to work with the other frames.

This is a very simple model implemented in OpenSCAD with dimensions taken from the original specification of a National Beehive, the MAFF leaflet 367 from 1961. You can use the OpenSCAD script to select between a dummy board suitable for standard or deep (14x12) brood boxes or supers, or define your own frame size. You can also vary the thickness of the frame to your needs.

The top bar is the longest part of this model and measures 432mm. Even if you have a 400x400mm print bed you'd need to rotate it 45° to get it to fit, and invert it so that the lugs are at the bottom. That's how they appear in the STL files with names ending -diagonal. If you have a *really* big printer you can lay it flat, as in the files ending -flat.

There's no need to use much infill. I'd recommend not using PLA as a material here but choosing one more suited to outdoor use, like PETG.
