Billy's Eggsbox - 50

A friend of ours had his 50th birthday and I made him an Eggsbox .... with 5 regular eggs and one special Eggsbox-egg. The special Eggsbox-egg can be opened and a surprise can be inserted … that is where we put the real gift …

There is also a version without the “50” on the bottom and a version without any writing … a simple Eggsbox … The Eggsbox-egg also comes with a regular cap …

Printing instructions:

The box is print-in-place with the top and bottom on the buildplate. This allows for a good place to do a small color-change so the lettering comes out nice.

The egg-top can be printed on the flat side without support and the bottom has built-in support (check “detect thin walls” if it doesn't show up in the sliced file). Print it on the flat side as well.

I printed mine in gold and black for the box and white for the egg … all PLA. My egg wasn't as clean as I would have wanted it (printed too hot) but time was running out …
