I have tried a few ways to make a revise Bowden setup for my Prusa MK3s.
This design requires only 220mm of 4mm OD PTFE tube to be bought, rest is printed.
(OD= outside diameter; ID=inside diameter)
I tried the 2mm ID but had difficulty pulling out the filament with the little ball of re-solidified filament so I went to 3mm id and now its perfect. I prefer the clear PTFE so you can spot any problems.
I still use the 2mm ID for my dry boxes, to keep the air out and also the ball then stops the filament going back too far.
The ptfe-screw-prusa is split in to two parts for ease of printing, just align them by putting PTFE tube in and glue them together with super glue.
I have also added the connector and the cap, incase you want to modify your existing dry boxes to this system.
See my other models, I am working on a DAISO 5.5l dry box project that goes with this design perfectly.
The author remixed this model.
This is a blending of the best parts of the designs.
