Updated 01/28/2024, 28/01/2024 for the rest of the world.I saw a few comments stating that the mounting/starting chain link was causing collision issues with the side of the printer. I went ahead and made some minor changes to the model to alleviate this issue. The starting link is now angled much more vertically and a second guide has been added at the top to help hold the ribbon cable vertical and away when the toolhead is near the sides. I did print and test and it seems to be working fine for me. If anyone still has issues please let me know. Unfortunately this means that the model does now require supports to print. I printed at 100% infill because this part is relatively thin and will now be subjected to frequent tensile/shear stress. It took 20 minutes to print on the SV07. |
Added a mounting point and guide channel to the SV07 Plus cable buckle for the SV06 Spine cable chain by rogerquin to make using the Spine a bit better with the SV07/Plus. Also modified the Spine starting chain link to fit over the ziptie point on the toolhead to better secure the cable and guide it away from the gantry and cooling fan.
The cable buckle will need some supports and should also print vertically with the female coupler at the top.
The author remixed this model.
