This is a replacement handle for a 40oz TDE tumbler. The original handle was spot welded, and the tabs broke off with the handle when it was dropped.
I realized that the tumbler is like two opposing tapered cylinders. So, I printed this for a tight fit. The top ring is 100mm ID, and the bottom ring is 83mm ID. The widest part of the cup is right in the middle. So, getting this handle to slide on was going to interesting.
I printed it upside down with tree supports. Once it was cleaned up, I heated the rings near the handle, and stretched/slid it onto the cup. I held the rings in place for a minute as they cooled. The fit is very firm, and the handle does not slide up or down.
Fusion file attached so you can alter this for your similar tumbler applications. Have fun!
