Print Settings

• scale 100%+ for full detail
• 0.4mm nozzle
• 0.1 - 0.2mm Layer height
• no supports (if necessary add supports under engine pods)

Assembly

The heatshield and the latch ring can simply be glued in place with superglue.

The hinge can be assembled using some ~1mm wire (refer to the pictures). When correcly assembled, the nosecone should close flush around the docking mechanism and open up to ~180° when fully opened (the picture shows the nosecone roughly halfway opened).

Notes

A lot of the parts of this model are quite fragile as they are designed to look scale. This means that the hinge is not particularly sturdy. The posts holding up the soft capture ring also have a tendency to break off, so do make sure to glue the ring on all three posts to add some stability.
