The display is at a fairly steep angle to allow clearance behind, in case you've relocated your print bed. The back of the display's IDC socket (i.e: not allowing for the IDC cable) is only 20mm inside the frame.
Extra parts required:
- Two M5*8 bolts (slightly longer or shorter probably OK, too)
- Two M5 T-Nuts
You'll need to assemble it in this order:
- M5 bolts and T-Nuts
- Screw into frame
- Put in display, and screw in display
- Add knob
Notes:
- I printed it with what Cura calls “supports everywhere”, as the guide “bump” has a bit of overhang otherwise.
- You'll may need to buy or make a longer 10-way IDC cable, since you're moving the display.
- If you lose track, like I did, it's the “EXP3” connector you use on the display for the Ender 5 Pro (and likely the same for other Ender 3 and 5 models as well.)
