You can download 3 shapes:
Circle
Square
Hexagon
The bases are super easy to print, no supports needed.
To make the holders you should start with crochet stitches around the base. I did 2 double stitches into each slot of the base, which worked perfectly for me.
The bottom side is facing up during the print. Keep that in mind when you start to knit/crochet ;-)
You can do those stitches with a small crochet hook or a big needle. After this first row you could either crochet around or pick up the stitches with knitting needles.
The tighter and the more firm your stitches are, the better the holder will keep its shape.
I had the best experience with double crochet stitches using thick yarn and a crochet hook smaller than suggested for the yarn. This helps to create very sturdy stitches.
I printed mine in PETG and used cotton yarn to crochet. The final holders were machine washable at 60°C without any issues. I suggest to put them in a net for washing.
I hope you will have fun with creating some Easter Egg Holders. 🐰💖
