Insert / Organizer For Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition + All Expansions (Collectors/Retail Edition)

This is my insert for the (German) collectors/retail edition (small box) of Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition that can hold all three expansions (as well as the promo cards). The insert does not support sleeves but it can hold the 6 double layered player boards without box lift.

The insert is supposed to be printed with 0.2 layer height and a 0.4mm nozzle. The walls are 3 lanes thick and the bottom is 4 layers thick.

Huge thank you to js500 and his awesome OpenSCAD inserts! Checking his source files were a huge help in creating my own insert. If you own the larger expansion / kickstarter box of TfM:AE, make sure to check out his design.

Update Feb 2025: Added a lid for the trays so the tokens and stuff don't just spill everywhere when vertically stored.

Please note: If your game came with the double layer player boards you can print the lid with the recess for the player boards. You'll need to store the cards angled in the card tray.
If you have the cardstock player boards you can print the thick lid instead and store the cards vertically. You may need to add some foam to the card tray so the cards stay put.
