Trollface Russian Doll Maze Puzzle Box with customizable Text

There are many versions of that puzzle out there with texts that are more or less fitting for an occasion.

Design

This one is different. It allows you to chose any text you like in any font you like. Also the inner parts, those you see once you have discovered that you have to solve more than one puzzle, have a Trollface on them. This adds insult to mental injury.

Perfect if you give someone money. Now they have to earn it!

Text

Put the Cover.stl file in same folder as the cover_with_print.scad file and open the scad file in OpenSCAD then start changing the texts. Source of the example text: 

Troll Face

For the 2nd and 3rd puzzle you will get a version with a trollface on it.

Picture this: The recipient of the box is very close to solving the first puzzle. The moment of happiness when they finally got it open eagerly awaiting the jucy contents of the tough wrapper. Oh no! Another puzzle! Frustration grows as they realize that a nasty troll is grinning at them. 

For our convenience you will get pre rendered versions for 0.20 and 0.15mm layer height and one or two layers of indentation. Also, you will get a simplified troll face because no consumer class FFF printer can currently reach this level of detail. A SLA printer may be able to reach it so there is also the detailed version available. 

As always, I have included all the source file so you can change the model to show other images. Since printables doesn't like Perl code, the small program I wrote to have all the design variation autogenerated is hidden as a ZIP file along with all the resources you will need if you want to render the models yourself.

Printing

For maximum stunning effect, print the inner parts in 2 colors, first ‘lid’ in the color of the previous cover, then the maze in a new color and so on.

Cleanup

The original models were a bit messy and OpenSCAD refused to use them. I got help from https://www.printables.com/@ChristianPer_1089185 who cleaned them up for my. Thank you very much for this!

This model includes a Trollface to taunt anyone who tries to open it. Also, the models of the inner puzzles have been cleaned of all their faults so OpenSCAD can use them properly.
