Headset holder to hang over office separator

I got a new headset at work, but had no good option to store it in arms reach. And so I designed a holder which I could use in my office. Idea was, that I could hang it over the office separator at the back of my desk.

While first prototypes fit very nicely there was not a lot of grip at between the holder and the office separator, which made we worry the holder would just slip left and right all the time.

I therefore added a little gutter to the back part, with the idea to fill it with hot glue for added friction.

Final print was done using transparent PETG - a first for me. What I realized is, that the fill becomes it's own design element and creates amazing textures. I opted for gyroid infill, which created a very nice pattern.

This material also matched the office divider the best, which is made of a type of frosted plastic. It lets through a little light, which makes the internal structures visible.

Because of the transparency of the holder, I decided not to use hot glue on the back for asthetic reasons. But if I was to print with opaque material, I would definitely give it a try.

The headphone sits neatly on the holder and does not fall off. Also, it can be taken off the holder with one motion without any fuss.
