Description

PDF

The rod bracket from an old piece of furniture broke and couldn't withstand the weight I was putting on it, so I designed a sturdier one that matches the original version. The bracket can accommodate a 20mm rod.

Assembly instructions

3D Printing

You can use the following settings as reference:

  • Material: PLA/PETG
  • Supports: Yes/No
  • Resolution: 0.2mm Layer Height (using a 0.4mm nozzle)
  • Perimeters: 2
  • Top Layers: 2
  • Bottom Layers: 2
  • Infill: 100%

Note: I decided to print the rod bracket on its side to provide more durability, but you can print it on its back without using any supports.

Tools & Supplies:

In order to accomplish the install of one rod bracket you will need the following:

  • 2x | 3.5mm Wood Screws
  • 1x | Screw Driver

Steps

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to install the wardrobe rod bracket:

  1. Begin by 3D printing the provided parts.
  2. Mount the rod brackets into your wardrobe using 3.5mm wood screws.
  3. Install the rod on the newly mounted brackets.
