I wanted the film to be wound “the right way” so the film is better protected from light after exposure and to increase the tensioning of the film. I modified the files so that the ratchet mechanism now turns anticlockwise. I also modified the size of the spring arm on the ratchet to apply a bit more force to minimize backlash on the gear.
I printed everything in PETG. The ratchet and gear are printed with a 0.2 mm nozzle with 100% infill for the ratched and 50% for the gear.
The cold shoe needs to be glued into its slot on the lid, it should be a tight fit even without the glue. I used CA glue.
I give no gurantees for the rigidity of the strap lugs! They are an afterthought.
The author remixed this model.
These are a few changes I made to the different parts of Javier Fernández' camera model, Woody Meow's models of the printed ratched mechanism and the parts I used to add straplugs and a cold shoe to the lid of the camera (by Space_trash and Sixpm).
