Dyson Fan Stand

The AM01 fan is designed to be on a desk or table, but we wanted to position ours next to our bed in front of our wardrobe. Putting it on the floor would mean all the air would just hit the side of the bed, so I designed a simple stand to raise it up so it would blow over the bed.

There are two parts - the stand, which is the main platform and the foot, of which you need 3. The legs are 20mm plastic conduit which I happened to have laying around, but you could use anything that has an outer diameter of 20mm. Everything push-fits together. 

Cut your legs to a height that suits you - straight cuts, no need to angle them. The platform  is designed to have the correct angles to splay the legs out and the feet to sit on whatever surface you put it on flat.
