During the past year I had to wear my Arctis 7 a lot more and for a lot longer than before due to lockdown and the transition to online. After prolonged periods of use, my ears started to hurt. Either I have big ears or the Arctis 7 has shallow cups because the speaker housing was pressing on my ears. Not enough to become a problem with occasional use but definitely noticeable after weeks and weeks of home office. So I designed this clip-on extension that lifts the pads by an additional 6.5mm. No modification needed. Just print it out clip it on and you are good to go. Now my ears are nice and comfy even after long hours of use. Also, I think this mod looks pretty stylish.

ASSEMBLY:

1. Take off ear pads.
2. Mount pads on cushion clip.
3. Put bottom clip on headphones, Clasp facing down, DO NOT CLOSE YET.
4. Insert extension in bottom clip, slot orientation doesn't matter.
5. Close clasp.
6. Press cushion in place until you hear it click in place.
