Flubber Dust™ is a commercial product - it's a powdered rubber used in combination with “Oil Lift ™”. You can reuse it, but it needs to be dried out between uses.
After use, it's like a mud, and you want it dry as a fine powder before use. I struggled with drying it because I didn't want it to blow away from an open container, but in a closed container it can't dry.
This drying rack allows you to spread a thin layer on each side of the center channel. Drying from the ‘mud’ state, it will sediment. You can scoop it back into the original container using a flat bottomed scoop (e.g., https://www.printables.com/model/443812-weed-scoop )
I recommend printing in black filament to maximize solar heating. I used PLA, which has held up fine in the sun for several weeks as I dried many batches - maybe a bit of warping, but it still works.
The opening at the front requires supports. I used organic supports and pulled out the ones for the front opening, but left the ones for the center channel as-printed.
If you want to accelerate drying, the top outside frame is designed so you can add a clear cover - e.g., clear plastic bag, clear hard plastic sheets, or two pieces of glass - when used this way, water will evaporate, condense on the under side of the clear cover, and drip into the central channel. I haven't tried, but I theorize that Rain-X or Aquapel on the underside would make the water bead and flow out even more smoothly.
