I created this sleeve to allow for filament to be swapped between different spools. This has helped because you no longer have to print a full spool to have filament stored. It also allows you to swap spooled filament to another spool that may be more tolerant to higher heats for filament drying. This is meant to function like the cardboard that the Bambu Lab filament refills come on. In my testing, these work on the Hex Spool Remix as well as the stock Bambu Lab spools. This also has the key, so your filament is locked in place on the spool.
Print Settings:
I have printed mine in PLA, PETG and ASA. Most of mine are PLA because I don't have many filaments that need to be dried. Personally I don't use the PETG one often because the ASA is more durable and has a higher temperature resistance. If you are going to be using this with a filament dryer, I recommend printing in something like ASA so you don't have the sleeve warp.
The author remixed this model.
This is not another printable spool, this is a keyed sleeve that is meant to have filament spooled onto it and be mounted in either the printed spool or Bambu Lab spools.
