One upon a time bolt holding my toile seat in place was broken. I was faced with two options either wait for next day to be able to buy a replacement which will also eventually broke, or use my skills and tool to fabricate more beefier and robust replacement.
During modeling I realized that it make not sense to stick with original design in terms of diameter and length, so I measured my mounting holes on toilet and modify dimensions to better suit my particular case. It should work for mounting holes of 14mm diameter and 15mm in depth.
After first iteration was tested and also broken I decided to also modify bolt base to get rid of weak points.
I printed this with PETG, 100% infill, 0.5mm line width and 0.2mm layer height.
I know that this orientation is not ideal for threads, but extra diameter give it enough extra strength.
