I printed this in PETG for temperature resistance, and slight bendiness.
Mostly default settings, but I added build plate supports, and increased the perimeters to a large value (15) so that it would effectively be 100% infill, and the layers will lay along the handle, hopefully giving it a fair amount of strength.
To install, use a pliers to bend out the metal brackets holding the handle, replace handle, then bend them back in.
Backstory:
My dad got this Thermos something like 50 years ago, and repaired the handle once before. He sent me a drawing with spec for a replacement, which I made for v1, then I tried to emulate the original a little closer for v2. It was later that I looked it up, and found out that the handle was originally straight, and was just curved from the many years of use.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
