Modification of 5-reel spool holder on Prusa Printer Enclosure v2 to just one reel, for users who want the V2 enclosure but don't have the MMU system installed.
This is a modification of the spool holder in the V2 enclosure files (available at https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/3673-mmu2s-enclosure), plus an unmodified spool reel from the same files, a new printed axle to replace the steel ones only supplied in the MMU kit, and a filament guide from the V1 enclosure (available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2867521).
Print using PLA. Note the one in the photos I made was PETG - Don't use that! You'll end up with huge amounts of stringing that will take ages to clean out.
Drill a single 3mm diameter hole in the flip-top lid, 25cm from the front edge and centrally aligned from left to right. Drill this right through the top and bottom surfaces of the lid.
Then drill a 10mm diameter hole through the top hole only, from the top, and another through the bottom hole only from the underside. Push the filament guide in from above through both holes.
Then line up the spool holder behind the filament guide, so the screw holes are 36cm from the front edge and the spool holder is aligned centrally from left to right. Make sure that the slots where the axle fits in are angled upwards towards the front of the unit - otherwise the filament spool might fall out when you open the lid! Fix it to the top using the 5x30mm pan-headed screws that you will have already been using according to the V2 enclosure instructions. Load the filament spool as per the photo in this page's photo album.
