These are sturdy leadscrew alignment tools for the Rat Rig V-Core 3 printers.
The rear guide is only for use with the earlier V-Core 3 printer with the offset lead screw.
These are not required for lining up the leadscrews on V-Core 3 or V-Core 3.1 Printers fitted with leadscrew guides or leadscrew constraints. (Please note I recommend that leadscrew guides are used in preference to constraints fitted with bearings. Constraining both ends of a leadscrew is not best engineering practice).

Note the rear one is only for use on version 3 V-Core 3 printers with an offset lead screw. Rat Rig have upgrade Version 3.1 to use a centralised rear leadscrew.

Recommend you print two of each and use one at the top and bottom when aligning your lead screws and motors.
Same tool can be flipped once you have printed it out to be used on both left and right hand side lead screw.
The best way to use these is in conjunction with Rat Rigs linear rail alignment jigs.
Step 1. loosen off the motor mount, so it is just free to move.
Step 2. loosen off the linear rail so it is just free to move.
Step 3. fit guides at top and bottom as shown in photo.
Step 4. align everything. ( I had to give my motor mount a little affectionate tap to get it into the right position.)
Step 5. gradually tighten up the linear rail and motor mount while making sure neither shifts.
Step 6. Remove guides and enjoy.
Update 24/10/21
Version two (v2) corrects a small (0.25 mm) but important dimension inaccuracy in the front lead screw alignment tool. Do not use v1 files.
