This is a V-Block to allow you to shim the filament hob gear on the main shaft to be perfectly concentric.
Doing so will marginally improve Z layer stacking as per the research done by MirageC.
The jig has two wide flanges on it so that you can clamp it to the test bed while makeing measurements with your dial gauge.
Shimming of the filament drive hob gear is easily done with kitchen tinfoil.
Coffee fund
If decide to make a donation to my coffee fund (which keeps me up late at night doing more of this stuff) I would appreciate it. There is absolutely no obligation for you to do this. My PayPal account is [email protected]
Please remember to post feed back as it is always valuable to me for future iterations.
Many thanks.
