This is a screenwriter's organization system for scene index cards that are 5.5x9.1cm, like the ones found here: https://www.jetpens.com/Correct-Joho-Index-Cards-9.1-x-5.5-cm-Blank-100-Cards/pd/13500
This is a great way to quickly jot down ideas, store your blank cards and organize your scene index cards when you don't need them up on a cork board or laid out in front of you. Folder tabs are minimally labeled with dots that can be printed in a different color.
It is built on the Gridfinity organization system and was built to fit on 3x2 grids, and was designed so it can be stored in an IKEA Alex drawer with enough clearance.
There are 3 main parts to this system:
1. A card container for storing 9.1x5.5cm cards, with finger recesses for easy access. I print two of these (one for blank cards, one for unsorted scene cards).
2. A lid for the card container with an angled slot. I use it to drop scene cards in while the lid is closed. Whenever I have an idea, I write it in a scene card and drop it in the slot where unsorted scenes go.
3. A 3-folder system that holds cards standing at 60 degrees, meant to split cards up in to Acts.
The author remixed this model.
