Plastic snap clips on the wheels of the Hart 20V stick vacuum break very easily. I couldn't find any replacement part numbers online, so I made an exact copy using SolidWorks. Attempted to beef-up the snap mechanism for a hardier wheel. Highly recommend printing the rim at 45° relative to the bed to improve interlayer shear strength. Almost 3 months of use and the new wheel is still going strong!
Parts List
- 1x Hart 20V Vacuum Wheel
- 1x Hart 20V Vacuum Wheel Tread
Print Settings Used
- 0.2mm layer height and settings seen in print files below
- I recommend using a PETG material for the wheel of the vacuum and a TPU material for the wheel tread. I used NinjaTek's flexible Cheetah filament (Shore 95A hardness) for the tread
- The wheel was printed with its front face at a 45° relative to the build plate using organic supports (see attached print file for support blockers/enforcers)
- With the tread being printed from TPU, it is fairly easy to stretch onto the rim of the wheel - two interior ribs hold the tread securely onto the wheel
