Those who want to winterize their pool or basically just want to stretch a tarp over the pool have certainly already looked for a solution to fix the tarp.
These reliable fastening hooks are attached to the vertical bars of the pool with the hook facing down. While the rear vertical screw is tightened normally, you can loosen the front horizontal screw and use it to adjust the height on the attached rod.
I had to print 15 of them to cover all rods and they already survived some seasons as you might have noticed from the pictures. They are reliable and never broke even in some small storms we had. In addition, I recommend a tarp with ring eyelets and a stretchable tarp rope. Similar to a truck tarpaulin, the rope is then simply hooked onto the hook.
Print instructions:
I used PETG with usual 0.15mm layer height on 0.4mm nozzle on my old Mini but added now as well the gcode for the MK4 with the new Input Shaper capabilities.
It works fine without any supports!
Assembly:
The assembly is more or less self explaining if you check out the pictures. Use M3 nuts, M3x25mm countersunk head for the vertical rear screw and horizontal screw is M3x20mm.
Happy printing!
