Enables me to get an angle from above for time lapses and a good shot from down to the nozzle for securing a nice first layer (well, not at the same time). No X-axis mount, don't like those with “heavier” webcams as for weight, vibrations and general stability.

Mounts to an enclosure side with double sided tape. Don't know if i have to say it but: Mount it so the slots run from up at the front side of the rails to down at the back side or your camera will slide out… Square nut goes in the slot in the lower hinge. Screw tight for stability of the angle (tolerances are very tight, so shouldn't break to easy)

Printed with no supports (!) in the following orientations:

  • Guide_Rail: on it's back, openings up (240mm long)
  • Mount_Sled: Opening Down (!), Hinges up (bridges are not very pretty, but no-one will see it, needed for small tolerances of the guide blocks on the side)
  • Mount_Plate: Standing up on the longer side (needed for a clean 3.2mm bore hole)

Filament: Prusament PETG Galaxy black, Stock Prusa Settings

Not printed materials needed:

  • M3x35mm Screw
  • M3 Square nut
  • ¼" UNC camera tripod mount Screw (pretty standard, you can get this in Photography accessories shops, else use any screw that fits 😀)

Doesn't need dismantling of the C920

STEP Files added as this is constructed for the right side of my enclosure and you might add other mounting sleds or plates or you might not like double sided tape 😉.

Happy printing!
