Silencing foot I designed for my Mk3S+ using the softest squash balls (double yellow dots)
I was looking for something better than the original rubber pads supplied together with the printer and found the idea using soft squash balls really great. But all of the feet that I found either on thingiverse and here at Prusa prints are bolted to the printer frame with some T-slot nuts.
I wanted feet that can be snapped onto the frame and can easily be removed so I designed my own version. It took me some iterations to get it working especially the frame brackets that snap on needed some adjustments in order not to break when being snapped on and off the frame. The version here is my final iteration and it works perfect on my printer.
After request from some of the members regarding the wish for a higher standover for the printer I made optional brackets to increase the standover height by 5mm, you can follow the link below to access the model :

Sound is silenced so that the fan appears to be the loudest noise from the printer now.
The squash ball I used is this one from Decathlon :

For the assembly there is neither glue nor any additional item necessary, just press the ball into the housing, slide on the brackets and you are ready to snap it onto the printer frame.
Happy Printing !
