This is a design for a very simple base to secure the original Ender 3 filament holder to other surfaces, like a shelf or the top of a Lack enclosure with screws. Because you only print one part and you reuse the rest, it's really quick to make. It can also be used to hang the filament underneath a shelf, but for that I think it would be better to print in ABS or PETG rather than PLA.
It has tapered holes for wood screws because I designed it to attach it on a wooden base but you can also use M3 bolts.
No supports needed.
The Ender 3 filament holder is attached with M6 nuts and M6 8mm bolts (I believe they were the original ones it came with but I'm not 100% sure)
Note: this is just the base shown in orange on the cover picture. The third picture also shows a third party roller for illustration purposes.
