The Hotel del Coronado is a historic beachfront hotel in Coronado, CA near San Diego, CA. My wife and I were married at this hotel years ago so I wanted to design and print a model for our home. I chose to use matte PLA filament and used the textured Prusa build sheet. All of the roof tiles and most of the outward faces were printed face down to hide layer lines and enhance the quality of the final product. Assembly is easy, I built in some alignment holes, and used some superglue to hold it all together. At 100%, it will take up almost every mm of the MK3s build area. The final model measures about 17 inches in diameter at the base and is about 17.5 inches tall (not including the flag). I needed almost 2kg of red and less than 1kg of white.
