#0099 Latching Poker Playing Card Hard Case [w/Diamond Pattern]

*** HEADS UP: this is a good model to do comparison test with Prusa's new firmware (5.0.0) with Input Shaper running *** 

This is a locking hard case to stow and protect your poker deck.  Easy to print without supports.

Sized for Bicycle Branded “Standard” (poker) deck size.

Inside dimensions: 64.5mm x 89.4 mm x 16.8 mm

2 Variants are published here:

1. Cap with tighter clearances (0.2mm total) - for well-tuned printers and/or printers with input shaper running.
2. Cap with larger clearances (0.3mm total) - for printers that need more clearances for whatever reason. 

Recommendations:

1. 0.2mm layers, 0.4mm nozzle
2. Use PLA or PETG
3. Use “aligned” seams.  Do not use random seams.

*** IMPORTANT NOTE ***

For the best protection for your precious cards, best NOT to print with anything that has carbon fiber (CF) in it, because CF is abrasive and will scratch/damage your deck over time and usage.

This was successfully tested with Polymaker and CC3D PLA printed by a MK3S+ printer without input shaper and by a MK4 printer with input shaper running (and printed in less than ½ the time - see the black one in the picture).

Input shaper helps remove ringing (ghosting) that can produce inaccuracies in your print (as well as having undesirable cosmetic effects.)  Therefore it can handle models with tighter tolerances - assuming that your printer is well calibrated!

Instructions to Open:  Squeeze together on the raised diamonds on the box and the lid (at the same time) to unlatch the lid from the box. Then pull open.  

Note: the latch works better with cards already inside the box.
