Description

PDF

Printed with PETG, 0.15 layer height (better / cleaner threads), infill 15%, 6 perimeters (overkill maybe).

Per Steve's original instructions …

"Replace the two M3x10mm screws that normally hold the upper Z rod bracket with two of the spare M3x18mm screws that came with your printer along with two M3 lock nuts to secure.

Note: the printer frame ends up sandwiched between the upper Z rod bracket and the reverse bowden bracket (see photo).

The threads are set up for the PC4-M10 couplers."

Thanks to Steve for including the .step file so I could update the design (in Fusion 360). In the same sharing spirit I included my .step file too.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

I added a rounded off (and capped) bottom to Steve Peterson's excellent frame mount reverse bowen frame bracket for a PC4-M10 coupler.

This change prevents the bowden tube from being pulled down too far and makes it easier to feed the filament up to the tube.
