Modern Large Hanging Lampshade 430mm Diameter 160mm Height

This is a custom Modern Large Circular Hanging Lampshade.

Assembled Dimensions: 430mm Diameter 160mm Height

• All parts can be printed on a 256x256mm print bed

Print Info & Settings

• PLA (White)
• 0.4mm Nozzle, 0.2mm Layer Height
• Some parts printed with support (see parts marked “[SUPPORT]” below)

Construction

The part named “LS Mounting Plate” has a connection diameter of 29.5mm. This is designed to connect to standard EU Lightbulb (See image of lightbulb mounting ring that screws on and off)

Parts designed to be slotted together (Tongue and Groove) and be glued in place

“Curved thin plates” are printed flat and curved when assembled

Tools: Needle noes pliers to remove support material, Glue, Rags for cleaning glue drips.

Print the groups of parts below “Top”, "Bot", "Sides", "Connectors". 

1. Assemble all Top parts, glue all tongue and groove connections.
2. Assemble all Bot parts, glue all tongue and groove connections.
3. Allow to dry (Whatever recommended time for your glue)
4. Attach all 6 “Tie Rods” to the Bot Assembly using “Fasteners A & B”. (Be sure to glue fasteners together. (See images below for tie rods standing in place)
5. Allow to dry
6. Glue all "Curved Thin Plates" and “Thin Plate Connector B” onto the Bot assembly. (Note: you might have to hold this in place to stop from separating. 
7. Glue and place the top assembly onto the curved thin plates. (Note: Make sure that all parts are cleanly in place. This is the most difficult step when assembling)
8. Allow to dry
9. Turn assembly upside down and connect tie rods to top assembly using fasteners A&B (Be sure to glue fasteners)
10. Allow to dry
11. Remove lightbulb from socket, connect lampshade, connect lightbulb.
12. To insert the hatch cover, bend gently and slot into place.
