DIY gutter mount and usage. This aids in the collection of water for gardens & plants.
This is a gutter guide that holds unused aluminum gutter sections together so that they can be hung up on the roof edge of an old farm shed and collect water for usage in your garden.
The guides have holes in them which are large enough for bailing wire or coat hanger wire which is used to bind the guide onto the gutter. Small holes are drilled into the gutters and are spaced apart about 3 per meter in running length which is one per foot or more in separation. This then allows the gutters to be hung with screws onto boards mounted along the roof edge. The pictures shown are a section that's about 10+ meters or about 40 feet long. The gutter is terminated into an unused plastic pail section which has a plastic pipe drain fitted to the bottom which then goes to a large collection tank with a drain valve at the bottom. Be sure to fit a piece of screen into the bottom of the pail to keep leaves from going through the pipe into the tank.

The guide is designed in SelfCAD and exported in .stl and sliced in Prusa Slicer.
