The story:
I recently got out some old camera supplies and I couldn't find one of the lens caps, then as I look on pintables for a replacement (spoiler, I couldn't find one) I noticed the replacement parts competition and thought, this would make a good replacement part. This cap not only works for a replacement part, but for customization as well. Pretty much all camera lenses are black so it's fun to spice them up every once in a while. (I include a ”smile“ cap for fun) 19 test prints later I got a working model. Both are made out of PLA because it mimics the flexibility of a Cannon lens cap ring. Also I you wanted to put something on the lens you could totally do that.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
