This is a little helper to adjust your camera rig to standard LWS height, or to validate that your rig already sits at the proper distance.

In ARRIs standard for 15mm leight weight support (LWS), the 15mm rods are meant to sit 60mm apart while the optical center is meant to sit 85mm above the center of the rods, as seen here

Why this is important.

It isn't necessarily bad if you are off-standard; often times it doesn't matter at all, as long as it fits your personal needs. However, if you don't want to fear that accessories like matteboxes, follow focusses and other rig-parts might not fit because the camera sits too high or too low, checking and adjusting LWS height in the uncertain times of universal riser-plates is often a smart move :)
