What this is

This is an organizer I designed for my french cleat tool wall to store boxes (and box like things) on the wall.

This design is parameterized, you can customize it in OnShape to make it any size you need.

If you want to use the provided box size, print the Holder and a cleat appropriate to your system. I've provided ¾ in and ½ in cleats.

Bill of Materials

2x M3 10mm Socket Cap Screws

2x M3 Hex Nut

Printing

Printed at 0.3mm layer height in Prusa Slicer's draft mode.

Assembly

Insert the hex nut into the cleat base, it may help to use a longer M3 screw to pull it into place.

Bolt cleat to the base using the holes in the top.

Customizing

Open the design in OnShape: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/a0f1e0b6905cb49475c0ca97/w/e6c3d2f00e1de60ac3b6e01a/e/e19d0a6ec9eb7ecf36fd3fd4?renderMode=0&uiState=6508796564246d24c443d571

Change parameters to adjust the size:

OverallWidth - The width of the inside of the box. Excludes wall thickness

EdgeThickness - Thickness of the vertical walls on the sides of the box

BoxDepth - The depth of the inside of the box. Excludes wall thickness.

BoxHeight - The height of the box area.

BaseThickness - The thickness of the floor of box.

CleatSize - The size of the cleat system

Exported parts should be oriented for printing.
