Mega-Modded Silly SCAR (or technically PCAR)

This is a lengthened Silly SCAR that allows you to fire Mega darts instead of Mega XL! Why? Well, because I like my faux “suppressors”, and I have a ton of Mega darts and basically no Mega XL. And hey, your gamemode may use Mega XL as a shield-breaker, and Mega XL as something else! So this exists. Also, it just feels like a rifle grenade launcher…

I've been getting about 100fps with it on my modded XLS utilizing an SF25-TC and a 45cm barrel, but your fps will vary depending on your blaster. I've noticed if you use bad darts they will fishtail horribly when fired, and that some Mega darts are way looser in the barrel than others. I guess your mileage will vary.

You can use any of Silly's threaded pieces for the OG Silly SCAR, but I have included the one I use with this model. You will also need an 016 o-ring. For more info on how this system works, check out SillyButts' GitHub. This should fit onto any 13mm barrel out there, which is commonly used in all hobbyist 3DP springer blasters. SLABs, Cynthias, Talonclaws, certain Caliburns, etc.

Technically this is a PCAR, but… it does basically the same thing.

Assembly

It's just like a regular Silly SCAR. Put the collar onto the barrel, then the o-ring, then the SCAR, and tighten it all together.

Print Instructions

Print the body with the front facing down towards the build plate and the collar with the non-threaded side down towards the build plate. Only the body should require supports. Use whatever infill you want, but make sure your print quality is really good, or this will make your blaster shoot really badly!
