MK4 Hotend Fan Duct

Update 24/1/21:  Added a grille option STL.

Update 23/10/6:  Strengthened the snaps to be more robust and not break off so easily.  The duct is designed to be as light as possible and come off easily so as to not damage extruder in the event of a crash.

Designed my own fan duct to eliminate drafts/turbulence at the nozzle as discovered here.

Model includes a custom brim.  Orient the model as shown in the pics and set the following Print Settings:

Infill/Bottom fill pattern: Concentric
Advanced/Slice gap closing radius: 0mm
Advanced/Elephant foot compensation: 0mm
 

The part is only two perimeters thick and I would recommend to paint the seams as shown:

Print in your material of choice with a 0.4mm nozzle.  I'm happy to make any needed tweaks, just let me know in the comments.
